One online group can transform your life from fear, overwhelm, anxiety and being stuck to taking control of your life and intentionally shaping your identity into the woman God has called you to be, a masterpiece.

Why take control of your life now…

I Get It …

2020 was A LOT! I know that’s an understatement with the pandemic, political and racial unrest, not to mention your everyday issues. If you feel like all of the issues of this last year on top of what you’ve gone through has all become way too much and you know you need to get some support, let me help you. Even Michelle Obama mentioned recently how the current events of the Coronavirus, protests, and quarantine have worn on her. You are not alone.

During the pandemic, I’ve focused on helping women who have felt overwhelmed, lost, frustrated, angry scattered, sad, anxious or just unable to cope understand why they are feeling this way, get a sense of control over their emotional health and their physical surroundings and develop the skills to help them cope and thrive.

I am Alisha Curry Walker, a licensed professional counselor in the state of Georgia. I’ve been in the counseling field for over 25 years, a wife of 22 years and a mother of 5. Just like you, my family was dealing with the pandemic, shifting to working from home, and teaching the kids at home while trying to figure out what our normal would look like. I worked hard to figure out what that looked like for my family and for the clients I work with to help mitigate the trauma we were all experiencing. I even wrote an article for AARP and gave several talks on how to cope and take care of yourself during such trying times.

Let me help you too.

How to Get Started

Don’t let another month go by without you doing something to help take care of yourself, you can’t give to others if you are not refilling your own cup. We will meet weekly, but because this is virtual, you can be in the comfort of your own home. I know you may be tired of doing video calls, but this one is different, this is was designed for your mental, emotional and spiritual health. Just like anything else that is important, you set aside the time and make sure the kids are occupied or you have someone take care of them. Make yourself a priority, if just for this hour and a half. I made the cost affordable so the cost wouldn’t be a barrier.  Don’t be afraid to step out and do something new. My prayer is that this group will bring some peace and the ability to breathe again, focus and the support you need to leave all of the trauma of 2020 behind.
